You have to have a minimum of 3 Goalkeepers registered too. My plan is to sell my two backup GKs' and replace them with the two 15yr old ones as they are not any worse :D, I will be keeping most of the players who have Determination, Teamwork and Work Rate, so hopefully they will Develop a little, also would be nice to lower the wage budget some of our squad players and fillers are just not any good. One of the issues of India is you have really good foreign players who are older but then the national talent is poor. Finally someone doing India haha. I'm currently carrying over my FM23 save (with one of the Kashmir teams) where I am one season in and it's going similarly to yours. Finished 2nd, many five star potential players, not anyone who's already outstanding though. Don't have any foreign players in the squad and I was frankly quite surprised we were doing so well. Now, some players have retired which could come in handy for the financial side of things. One question: How do you handle that enourmous time gap between the seasons where nothing is going on? Do you holiday for a bit or do you grind through it? For now, I'm sticking with the latter but it's a bit tiring tbh. Also: Do you also find it a bit hard to find opponents for friendlies? I understand that travel distances are high but it's still a pain for me. Edited October 26, 2023 by whyalways_Mie

Unlike any other competition around the world winning team is presented with three trophies: Durand Cup (Nicknamed The Masterpiece): the original tournament trophy which became a rolling trophy since 196 Shimla Trophy (Nicknamed The Artistry): donated by the residents of Shimla in 1904 to show their passion and support for the tournament, the trophy began to be awarded in rolling in 1965. President's Cup (Nicknamed The Pride): a rolling trophy that replaced the Viceroy's Trophy post-independence by the President of India Dr. Rajendra Prasad. Basschaapje.2
After reading the first 6 pages I figured welll let's give this another try shall we. Tried this challenge once in FM21 but due to bad results and an even worse youth intake quit the save. I am gonna manage in Ukraine at the following club: Reset date is between 26th and 28th of june, only one club went up. My manager profile: P.S. Sorry if you see any dutch in the pictures, I usually play like that.

Popular Post Neo_Geo
So I've spent the last few hours working on a fun way to set some additional goals/objectives and how to track them (thanks to @OlivierL for the starter on this one). I've come up with a bingo card (this one is specifically tailored for the English League) where there are 100 objectives set so complete as many as possible to get a score out of 100: The idea was to get the difficulty increase from top left to bottom right (though I think the left most column probably breaks this logic!) and keeping related objectives close to one another. This looks like a lot but from the other challenge attempts in England I have seen I think most of these items get marked off anyway as the saves are usually absolutely epics. Given the likelihood of success in England is not that high this will at least give a score out of 100 for the attempt so the next attempt can look to better that (albeit the bar is set quite high with the first likely objective to be completed is promotion from the Vanarama North/South or winning it). I've created this if OpenOffice Calc if anyone wants it for their English save.

Popular Post Virtual Male
Season 4 2027/28 Manager Profile - Competitions - Finances - Facilities Competitions Vanarama National League (Past Positions) - After the first 6 games I naively thought we'd be in the hunt for a play-off spot come the end of the season.... We promptly went 12 games without a win and dropped all the way down to 18th where we settled and finished the season in 17th. Overall a success but lots of work to be done. The Emirates FA Cup - They must be heating the balls at the draws, I've only ever come up against either non-league or Premier League opposition in the FA Cup. This year saw a ridiculously simple run all the way to the 4th round where we drew Man City away, obviously that didn't go well for us but brought in nearly £800k which has done the club very well. The Isuzu FA Trophy - used to get some players fitness and rotate for minutes, lost in the 4th round. Squad - It's all looking very average if I'm honest, our stand out player in terms of ability is rated 'Decent for Vanarama North/South' so that says it all really doesn't it. Ryan Astley (2025YP9) - Mr dependable again, 23 G/A in the league and has won us games on his own at times. He's been developing really nicely but was refusing to sign a contract so I had the bright idea of activating the 1 year extension he'd agreed to with his current contract. That was a mistake I guess because he immediately handed in a transfer request due to being 'forced' to stay at a club he doesn't want to play for. He's got 3 years on his current deal though so he won't be going anywhere unless he starts to tank the team morale. Youth Intake (Preview) - Another very good intake with lost of high potential players, how good they could actually be is anyone's guess though since it's a low bar they're being measured against. Some fairly decent personalities. Graham Thomas (2028YP6) - Professional, 5* potential, consistent and not awful ability (ignore the 1 strength), what is there not to like?!?! Hopefully there's no freak injuries and he should make a first team impact at some point in the next couple of years. Transfers & Finances - Nothing to see in transfers again. Made a whopping £17k profit over the season, nearly £200k in the bank Other - Lots of upgrades this season funded by the City game in the FA Cup, I decided it would be better to make sure the money was spend quickly so the ta man couldn't get his hands on it at the end of the season, the board agreed to Junior Coaching, Youth Recruitment, Youth Facilities & Training Facilities upgrades. They wouldn't let me start another coaching badge under any circumstances though in case other clubs become interested in me as a result. All I'm missing is a link to the bingo card to fill in @Neo_Geo
Neo_Geo
Actually think I might rework the left hand column to achievable team related goals: Think there were too many centred on winning multiple trophies in one season. This way the first 6 rows in column 1 can actually be completed in Vanarama North/South

Popular Post Gonner
Austria Salzburg, Season 1, 2024/2025 After taking care of the staff, let's get to it. This is what we are going to have to do with : First observation : we do not have any natural left-back. Florian Wiedl is a lefty but plays on the right at the moment. We'll make sure to begin his training on the left-back position (he is accomplished right now). The strengths of our team seem to indicate that a 4-4-2 would be the ideal formation. I am thinking of using a flat 4-4-2 for when we are far from being favourites (which should be quite often) and then turn to a 4-2-2-2 with Sorda as an inside forward on the right when we may have more attacking chances. Another thing to note is that a lot of the more experienced players seem to be willing to explore their options at the end of the season. I might have to use my regens sooner than I had initially hoped. Speaking of regens, here are the 6 most promising players of the 2024 youth intake ! Tsvetan Dimitrov : Immediately our third-best GK. Manuel Kalman will be our starter, then Moritz Hunt seems promising, but Dimitrov is considered as potentially even better. That "low determination" description is bothering me though. Révélation Kevin Futschik : I do not think he is ready for first-team football, but I may call him up from time to time, especially because he will share the second-option duty for Left Defender with our next regen. Révélation Harun Islamovic : My assistant is considering him to be more first-team ready than Futschik, I don't really see it. Carefully optimistic though thanks to his 17 in Determination. His ability to play anywhere in defense might come handy as well. Révélation Idrissa Bah : Last of our young defenders. He and Islamovic are going to be our third & fourth options at Central Defender, we have no one else. Like his GK colleague, his personality and lack of determination has me a little worried at his eventual rate of progression. Révélation Luka Todorovic : IMO the best player out of this bunch. Aaron Volkert is clearly our one and only star player and will thus get the nod for one of the CM positions, but Todorovic should hopefully be fighting for the other spot with Trkulja & Husic if all goes as planned. Révélation Frank Ammerman : Once more a disappointing personality but we do not have anyone in the team that can really play the "second striker" position as a Deep Lying Forward. Dorfmayr and Zottl are heads and neck above the competition, but pairing a Poacher and an Advanced Forward might make it tricky to have any kind of links with the midifield ... Révélation The books clearly see us as the worst team in the division. Liefering (RB Salzburg), Young Violets (Austria Wien) & SK Sturm II are B-teams and thus cannot compete in the first division. Liefering, St Polten & Blau Weiss Linz are the favorites for the title. Only the champion gets promoted (or, if one of the B teams wins it, the next "non-B" gets to go up). Let's do our best to make the books look like fools! Edited October 27, 2023 by Gonner Spelling

Popular Post XaW
XaW - Follo FK - Season 2024 (Season 1) - PostNord-ligaen Avdeling 2 Squad | Transfers | Finances A great first season for us, where we go up with surprisingly little problems! I have no idea why we are so good, but I'll firmly take it. Of course, I know this squad fairly well now, and it's quite the good one. From the start we did well and won all our first 5 matches only conceding a single goal. Not to say that we didn't face any problems, we surely did, but for the most part, we did excellent. For the longest time Bærum was our closest team, but they had a real stinker towards the end of the season, and with 2 games left we were crowned champions! As we beat Tromsdalen away, we celebrated and were applauded by the few people who went to see us in the far north! We are also improving the stadium by installing undersoil heating. Norgesmesterskapet: We beat Bossmo & Ytteren before we lost to Sarpsborg 08 in the 2nd round. I got some improvements accepted this season. Around the world 2nd team: They only played friendlies this season. U19s: Our youth side won the Norwegian U19 Oslo 1 and thus qualified for the promotion playoffs. There they beat Egersund in the semi final, and eventually Åsane in the final to gain promotion to the national league. NN G19: They beat Eiger, Lørenskog and Sandefjord before they lost to Rosenborg on pens in the 4th round. michiganhugefan
Berwick Rangers Season 1 Midseason Update Normally I would do these at the end of every season but I think that showing the squad, the year 0 youth prospects and such could be nice. We're currently 4th in the league, and looking fairly comfortable to miss the relegation playoff and possibly in good position to make the promotion playoff. We've been knocked out in 2 of our 3 cups, with us through to the 4th round in the Scottish Cup. Squad Our first choice goalkeeper is injured again as you can see. The squad is solid and young, even beyond our tagged youth prospects. The midfield is quite strong, the strikers have tended to be awful and the defense is thin and has held their own but not been spectacular. Alex Harris has been moved to training and playing at Central Attacking Midfield, and has paid us back with great play, adding 15 goals and 7 assists to be the best player on the team In club news we've gotten the Junior coaching budget increased. Youth Prospects In the year 0 intake we had 7 regens and they have all been tagged. One of two strikers from the intake, has gotten less playing time than the other but with how worrisome our striker play has been he's been getting his chances in the lineup as we try to find a number one striker. As mentioned above this is our other tagged Striker we've been putting into our rotation. He's also played at other positions because of his versatility. He has shown some flashes of potential but as can be expected hasn't been great while playing. As our 3rd choice center back he's been getting pretty regular playing time off the bench and has even come through to score 3 goals for us (all on corners) while being one of two players to hold an average rating greater than 7 in our team halfway through the season. (Also I somehow missed on taking a screenshot of him at the start of the season, instead filing a second picture of 24b in my folder as 24c) He's played a little because of goalkeeper injuries. Not well and I'm happy to have him on the bench or as far away from the field as possible for now. Has barely played as wide midfielders are probably the strongest area of our team. I have retrained him to be able to play at Right Mid Another one who hasn't really played as once again the midfield is strong and tends to sort itself out without needing any tagged prospects playing in it. If injuries happened in the midfield he could see his playing time increase dramatically. I've trained him to be playing at Right back and he has made a couple of appearances off the bench in said position. With only one true right back in the squad above him, he may end up getting opportunities in the 2nd half. And we got our preview for the upcoming Youth Candidates Edited October 27, 2023 by michiganhugefan

Popular Post thomas_e
Energie Cottbus Season Summary 2025 - 2026 Great first 2nd Bundesliga season + fantastic intake Our first season in the 2nd Bundesliga and we performed a lot better than I expected. We finished in 8th place, which feels strange as I was close to the relegation zone for large parts of the season. But even though we had periods in which we struggled to win games, we never really got outplayed and as the season went on we got better and better. In the last 14 games we won 8, and this really sent us up the table. I really hope the board doesn't expect a mid table finish next year, as even though we have young good players, no one is ready to step up quite yet, so the team for next season is identical. I do think we will survive though, we seem to good to be relegated (hope that statement doesnt come back to bite me). Last year, our first season, had a bad intake, but this year we had a fantastic one, almost 10 out of 10. Several positions with 5 star potential players. Michael Greif looks like a potential superstar, really excited about him! The board now wants to build a new stadium, but there is nothing spesific yet. At the end of the season the board granted another upgrade of our training facilities, unfortunately they declined upgrading the youth facilities. We also now have exceptional academy coaching and good youth recruitment. Daveness85
Profile Took the job! Have tried doing this kind of save many times in the past but didn't join in the fun here so I'm going to try to get involved a little bit when I've got the time as I've really enjoyed reading about everyone's saves over the years!! I've taken the Dulwich Hamlet job because for the past 7 or so years I've always had a save with them and I've got fond memories from the past couple of years of seeing Danny Mills bang in a bunch of goals so I figure he might give me a decent chance of not getting sacked right away!! Danny Mills The rest of the squad is pretty thin in terms of the defence but there's a couple of kids hanging about the Under 18s that'll get moved up right away as we try and keep ourselves in the division. We've got some really strong legacy midfielders that I'll try to keep around but there's 5 players who were listed when I got here and don't look like they want to be sticking around so things could get a bit rough when they leave!! Squad I tend to play on stream so my youth players may have weird nicknames because I let my viewers claim youth players to be named after them to build a narrative and keep them involved in the save but other than that I'll keep everything else as it should be! Tactically I'll be playing a 4231 with an attacking mentality and trying to make the most of Danny Mills' aerial ability via set pieces! I'll get to playing the first season now and report back towards the end of it! Sitting on the north end of a lake, with Neuchatel ~5 miles away on the south end. Neuchatel Xamax are in our league, so we have a natural rivalry from the get-go and play them 4 times a year! Not Croatia after all? Good luck in Switzerland! 23 minutes ago, GS_Ball said: Playing my first ever youth academy challenge and I can honestly say it's the most fun I've had on a football manager save 🙂 It is extremely fun, the normal way of playing will never feel right again!

Popular Post the_hdk
Transfer History Well that was close to an upset. Nearly in J1. Guess we need to wait a bit longer. Hopefully next year as we are getting stronger. We are losing a load of money though so i'm getting a bit worried we might need to sell soon. Only 1,1mln in red due to the upcoming stadium. But at this rate we will be bancrupt soon. We are getting offers for KANADA our Youth Wing back. Highest was 1,2mln from J1. Hope to get around 2 mln. Than we need to sell as we need the money to stay afloat. YAMADA (in my mind pronounced "yo motha") broke into first team and stayed there. He grew into 3,5 stars this season. But seems he hit his ceiling. Still dude is the motor of our midfield with amazing physical stats. KINOSHITA saw alot of first team play due to injuries and rose to 3 stars. Really I see first team play imporves youth extreamly fast. Or my players just do not have that high ability hehe. Cups we just keep getting J1 teams fast so no luck...and This years play-offs we beat Matsumoto and Machida...but broke against J1 Consadole Sapporo. Maybe for the better as I still do not feel we are ready for J1. We need better defense and Goaly to come in. Hope to be ready within 2 seasons...we will see. Lost Play-offs Final for J1 Tradition by now, we lose our AM. Too bad, love his first name as it reminds me of my favorite cartoon when I was a child. YASUDA intake 2027 Hmm I think we have something here. And our first foreign player! A brazilian too. Must be as I have Tulio Tanaka as U-18 Manager. Daiki TANAKA. The best of the bunch. 3 stars already. and his potential did not go down once in the team. His ifnishing is alreadt great. Technique is amazing. Works hard. Once his physical start to grow he will be amazing. Our first Foreign Player. ERNESTO PAULO. Proffesional personality is good. Great potential but not that good ability yet. Quite tall at 184cm. Already at 16 the tallest player in my team! Should I retrain him to be central defender? What you guys think?

Popular Post WhiteCat33
FM23 Barbados YAC: Road View FC 2043 Season 21 – BFA Digicel Premier League Start Post | Season 1 |Season 2 | Season 3 | Season 4 | Season 5 | Season 6 |Season 7 | Season 8 | Season 9 | Season 10 |Season 11 |Season 12 | Season 13 |Season 14 | Season 15 | Season 16 |Season 17 | Season 18 |Season 19 |Season 20 | League Performance: It's taken 21 seasons, but we finally had a perfect domestic season! And apparently its the first in Barbados history. Cup Performance: We didn't concede a goal in our cup run. The smashing of BDFSP in the final felt really good since they are the historical team of Barbados. North American Champions League: NACL Caribbean Zone Draw: Only 1 Jamaican team this year and we didn’t get them! Group Matches: Caribbean Zone Playoff: We advance to the Playoff and get our first Jamaican opponent of the year: Humble Lions We played well away in Jamaica but our veteran CB gave up a late penalty to HL and they converted it. When they came to Barbados, while we controlled the game we didn't create nearly enough chances. They got the first goal and then Carrillo got an equalizer, but we lost 2-1 on Agg. Can't really complain, they were the better team. Reserve & U18s: Won both Squad: Spoiler Transfers: Spoiler Best XI: FM Screenshots: Spoiler Excel Tables: Carrillo has 216 goals at 23 years of age. Don't think he'll join the elite 1000 club. Short 22 game seasons aren't in his favor. He'll have to up his average of 30.8 goals a year significantly to do so (and play forever)... Spoiler Head Coach: Nothing for us, but due to poaching of backroom staff over the summer I was forced to replace my Reserve & U18 Managers and Assistant manager. Perhaps this effected the intake negatively this year, but long term I'm happy with the personality/ability of the hires. Spoiler Club Improvements: We finished the Youth Facility upgrade in December (so 6 Months before the intake). Then there was a huge jump in Cup Winnings from 120k to 550k, which we converted into a much needed Training Facility Upgrade. We were still at Basic... Here is the Youth Facility Upgrade (forget if I included it last update) Youth Academy: HOYD: Same Youth Intake Preview: Youth Intake: I feel that is an exceptionally harsh rating of this intake as we got a great midfielder. Top 3 Players: Rashad Harte: This is a great set up for an offensive midfielder. I’ll probably train him as a Mezzala or BBM with focus training on passing. Also, Fairly Professional and will be going directly into the first team. As a reference he has the 3rd highest CA of all players generated at the club. Phenomenal! Renaldo Croney: Sadly this is our next best player and is why this is such a poor rated intake Excel Tables: I mentioned it above but notice Rashad Harte is in our top 5 CA of all time. I decided to graph the Percentage of Professional & Ambitious personalities. Decided to do stacking-graphs as it shows the total "good" personalities in an intake. Important to note: 1) Awesome personalities like Perfectionist & Model Citizen double count as they are both a Professional & Ambitious personality. 2) I count Fickle as an Ambitious personality. They can be tricky to manage, but can develop well due to having high ambition. Barbados National Team: Barbados has won their first "trophy" by winning the Gold Cup Playoffs!! Sure it doesn't appear in their competitions, but this is their first major tournament qualification (ever?). You can see there is a major upwards trend in the Barbados Ranking, which coincides perfectly with a major development. (date is busted in the graph) Spoiler The big change: Carrillo declared Barbados! Spoiler We are at the stage in the save where 90% or more of the national team are our current/former players. Spoiler Road View Internationals: Barbados Main: Barbados Youth: Barbadian’s Around the World: Updated Last year so I'll hold off for a few years to see what changes. Caribbean International Performance: Gold Cup Only Jamaica made it out of the group stage and they fell to Mexico. Nations League A Spoiler Nations League B This is where Barbados are, and they were very close to promotion this year with only a 2-1 loss to the Dominican Republic. I think the Gold Cup Playoff win is more important to get into a major tournament (for our region). korvalis
Sweden promotion date appears to be 25 Dec 2024,. Saving on 15 Oct 2024 should generate new teams. The "safe" date for new teams isn't exact, but 15 Oct gave new teams, 22 Oct didn't. Speaking of which, I'll be taking on the challenge of IFK Lidingö FK, has a decent sized squad, and most of the squad is early to mid twenties
WhiteCat33
After at least the 7th or 8th attempt we finally have a takeover! Kind of impressed an investor considers what I built in Barbados as worth 2.4M Woah over 1M! That's way more than I expected. He also has at least decent WwY as Youth Facility Upgrade is still available, even after our recent upgrade to "Adequate". Facilities: In a twist from what I usually do I went for a Stadium upgrade. We are averaging over 90% attendance in the league and are 100% for Continental matches. Our current stadium has expansion potential to ~15k so should be able to add meaningful capacity for a bargain price. They said no: Went for Youth Facilities. Considering the new owner has the "Best Youth System in the Country" in Board Objectivies they gave it to me without any pushback. There goes all the money...

If it was arranged from before you took over and it couldn't be cancelled, then that's fine. Just take a screenshot of it from the date you joined showing the red (x) is not possible to click in the transfers tab and add it, and you're all good. Too late for me to take a screenshot like you suggest. I tried to terminate his contract but the board would not let me so I have put him in the reserves and I am not using him. Had a good start to the season winning 3 of the first 4. However the squad are not happy with the squad depth especially at CB. I am not happy with the CB situation either but little I can do about it.

He’s a legend in previous versions of the game and it looks like he’s still producing the goods. Honestly find that if you have a talismanic striker at your youth academy challenge club for the first few years you are more than likely to at least survive until the intakes take shape. In my 2 previous successes with the challenge I had Rilind Nivokazi at Chiasso and I had Hugo Botermans at Katwijk and both were scoring a tonne. It just generally buys you enough time for some of the youths to step up.
