  1. When I went to school in Italy you could go for a test and only write your name then submit and you'll get a 4 but technically the scale goes from 1 to 10
  2. It depends on what you want. I noticed that playing for example someone with a right foot as a left winger changes the behaviour of the role a little bit and the angle of which he crosses the ball and it seemed to benefit my team so I just kept doing that. It's a matter of preference, if you try it and it benefits you then I don't see why you should stop even if everyone tells you to do the opposite
  3. Some of you guys are crazy and please don't take this as an attack on you but the situation just happened and it's not something that happens frequently in football and you're already asking for it meanwhile in most countries the rule is 5 years and it seems FIFA are trying to come up with rules to stop that. Give it some time. If it's something every premier league club starts doing then yes you can make an argument for it being in the game but this is just one case of it
  4. I know this comment is old but out of curiosity what would difficult level look like? FM is unique in the sense that the AI and human play on equal field so you both have the same tools to win games. I've been playing some strategy games recently and they achieve difficulty level by giving the player a lot more resources compared to the AI or vice versa so I'm struggling to imagine what an easier game would look like
  5. Honestly I don't. If you're going to try the demo anyway you might as well do it without asking. Nothing good is going to come from asking people's opinion. There are people that overblow issues then there is the fact that something that bothers me you might not even care about
  6. I'd suggest you wait after the winter update then try the demo yourself. Personally I don't think it's a huge upgrade from FM22 although there are things I really like about it compared to the previous versions of FM
  7. Another pro. Is that your players can now train full time so they will now develop a bit faster depending on your facilities of course
  8. if it wasn't easy people would still complain, we see that every year for example with injuries. Despite there being less injuries in the game compared to RL people still complain every year that there are lots of injuries. Going back to loans it will soon become harder to have a team full of loans with fifa rules
  9. When I’m at a club that have limited coaches I don’t like to higher specific coaches like fitness coaches or gk coach. I like to hire them as normal coach so they can also work in other areas and reduce the overall workload
  10. I'm playing with an amateur team for the first time and the mistake I made was to sign players the way I'd do if I was managing a bigger team (mental attributes are very important) but I learnt that the only thing you need is pace and acceleration for most positions then for defenders you need acceleration and jumping reach
  11. I don't think there is a limit it's just that when talking about long term contract IRL it is usually 4 to 5 years
  12. You can do 8 years if you offer 5 and an optional extension of 3 years
  13. The API is free for anyone to use too but idk how hard it would be to implement in the game or if it's even worth it but it might also be useful to provide more meaningful feedback than we have now
  14. Unattached players have no clubs while expired contract players can still have clubs so it’s normal to have more players with the expired contract filter
  15. try letting the u18 manager do training and see if it lets you change it
  16. How are you planning to defend against teams that play with 2 strikers and an attacking midfielder? you might not come against a lot of teams that play like that in the premier league but you will come across it a lot in serie A
  17. I might seem counterintuitive to what you’re trying to do but it could still work if you’re maybe going to tight mark the players in the middle and tackle them hard so they can’t receive the ball in the first place so the fullbacks has only the option to play a long pass. The alternative is to show them wide but you’ll be leaving them to move up the pitch and potentially double up on your fullbacks if your wide players don’t come back to defend
  18. are you the one in charge of training for the u18?
  19. Do you plug in the external driver whenever you want to play?
  20. that's fair I'm just talking from experience, I've done challenges where every month in game we change tactic and the next person can't use any other formation that has been used prior and we still do very well
  21. tactical familiarity is overrated. It's nowhere as important as people tend to make it to be in my opinion
  22. I'm not 100% sure but you could try following other teams on the social media thing in the game
  23. that doesn't mean they didn't see it though. They have said numerous times that the way they handle bugs is they prioritise those that they feel would affect most people and even with that maybe they tried fixing it but it was causing issues in other areas. I do agree with you that seeing bugs carry over from previous games is annoying because it gives the feeling that they don't just care
