Popular Post XaW
XaW - Holbæk Bold- & Idrætsforening - Season 2025/26 (Season 3) - 2. Division Squad | Transfers | Finances A really good season for us, in the end at least. It started quite harshly as we found the step up to this tier a bit hard initially. We lost 7-0 away to Hvidovre in one of the first matches of the season, so things were tough. As the season went on we did find a bit of form and slowly crept up the table and surprisingly found we had reached the promotion stage rather then the relegation stage at the split. We did well in the promotion stage, but were unable to climb higher than 6th in the end. Still, a great season for us as we starved off any chance of relegation quite early. Our main issue is still the defense, but I'm currently at the mercy of the intakes, since the best ones I have are struggling to develop much. Not much else to do than endure, and in enduring grow strong (applause to anyone who takes that reference!), and hope for better defenders. DBU Pokalen: We beat Herlev and Roskilde KFUM before we lost to top flight team Brøndby in the 3rd round. B Team: They only played friendlies. Leaves us and plays literally 1 game all season in League 2. To add to it all I got the dreaded degradation this summer: Lost Youth Facilities AND Youth Level Now I have to spend 400k just to get us back to where our facilities were, but no way we can afford to re-up youth level.

Popular Post the_hdk
Kaf Sin Kaf Season 25/26 (3) - 1. Lig Players / Transfers Great season! And already promotion to Super Lig!. I just hope its not too early. We ware also a bit lucky as we lost the last game 0-2 and we ended the seaosn with same amount of points and goals as Konyaspor. We just had one more win. Very unlcuky end of the season for them. We are 0,5mln in the red so I hope Super Lig will finally get us some money to imporve facilities. We lost our main striker in the winter as they paid his min. fee release clause of only 100k. Bit it gave a chance to GÖZLUKAYA to get into the first team and stay there. He was the striker I was unsure about if he would make the first team. Amazing youth intake! 7!!! elite talents and 4 of them are 4,5 potential. The tow best of the bunch: BULUT. Resolute personality! Amazing Determination and work rate. So he has high professionalism it seems. With tose traits he must become a great player for us. He does need to work on his passing. AYAN. Right back. A possition we really need players so that is great. He is unambitious but his work rate is outstanding and his determination is ok. I do have hope for him.
Popular Post benrollo
That's now 2 seasons in a row where we have secured a top 8 finish on the final day of the season. It's also the second season in a row we would have only just escaped the relegation playoff places had we finished one place lower in the first stage! Our finish is made more impressive with the fact that wonderkid Nikola Cakic 26-1 was sold very early in the season. Our board accepted a bid of £475k for the lad, which I would have been OK with if it had come with any kind of sell on clause. I tried offering him out for less with a clause attached but nobody bit. He's now valued up to £5.6m, which is nice for him. Back to the subject of players who still actually play for us, and it was - of course - Kenan Bozic 24-1 who stood out once again. We're about as close to a one man team as it is possible to be in Football Manager. He led the way with a 7.49 average rating, whilst banging in 20 goals and picking up two end of season awards. One of Cakic's replacements came in behind Bozic - Ivan Pavlovic 27-11 put up an average rating of 7.08 in 16 games. Rounding out the top 3 was Branko Gligorijevic 24-3, one of the early graduates who has been steadily plugging away without too much recognition. His 6.90 rating isn't spectacular, but it's solid enough. Our 2029 graduate class was off to a promising start when the youth candidates preview came through. I was really hoping we'd get a decent 'keeper prospect out of the class, as we haven't had anyone come close to challenging journeyman number 1 Nemanja Jevric. Incredibly, Jevric had played every single competitive game I had managed (230 games!) until a twisted ankle kept him out for 3 games. Sadly, his replacement Pavle Vasic 26-2 was unable to keep a clean sheet - and get onto my infographic - in his absence. The class graduated, and although there were only 4 elite talents, there were some really promising players in there. Here's a look at all 4 elite talents. Milos Stojanovic 29-1 Oh mumma, what a talent. The ol' 3-year club option was inserted into Milos' contract - I'm not making that mistake again. The only downside is the fact that we don't play with an AM. I'm not sure he's cut out to be a central midfielder in a deeper role, but unless Bozic leaves we aren't going to have a space up top any time soon. A keeper! A decent looking one too, by far the most promising one we've seen come out of the academy so far. Fingers crossed he can push Jevric for game time before too long. Kieran Cooper 29-3 Ah yes, that famous Serbian surname, Cooper. Coop was born in Zemun, but is half Canadian. He's certainly miles behind the others in this class, but I absolutely love that determination. Jovan Bojanic 29-4 Leaves a lot to be desired technically, and is apparently out for blood every time he crosses the white line, but right back is a position we aren't particularly deep in so I'm hoping Boj develops quickly. Behind the scenes, this was a good season. After the disappointment of the facilities being downgraded, we managed to use the funds from the Cakic sale to upgrade both our youth and training facilities. I also managed to start work on my Continental A license as well. I'm still scratching my head about our youth recruitment policy (I have scouts with a wide range of nation knowledge and everything), but if the lads born in the Belgrade region are this promising, I can't really complain too much. Next season I'm going to be in a similar position with Igor Pavlovic 27-1 as I was with Cakic - my contract signing skills are garbage and I'm doing a terrible job of locking talents down long-term. Pavlovic doesn't want to sign a new deal, but I'm hoping at least we can push towards a cool million if we do sell. Other than that, it would be great if we could secure a top half finish before the final game of the regular season, but I'm not fussy.

Reiver
FC Barreirense 2024/25 Preview Campeonato de Portugal Série C The different Series (or Groups) of the Portuguese 4th tier split the teams geographically from north to south. With two teams relegated from the third tier being slam dunks teams to go to group D and with us at the border between the two series, we got moved to Serie C, which will make for a great story this year. The group has a few old dinosaurs from the Portuguese League: we have 24 seasons in the top league, Atletico CP have the same number, and if we count the seasons of the teams that merged to form the team they can add 6 more seasons to their tally, and Fabril do Barreiro have 23 seasons in the top tier, back when they were called CUF. To be fair, the last time any of these teams were in the top tier was in the 70s. To top it all off, this year we'll have a Barreiro derby! This season the board want us to finish midtable and looking at the group we're in, I think we can do it. Atlético, Benfica de Castelo Branco and Sintrense are likely to be the favourites to win this though. I'm not sure the bookies believe the same though. W have better odds this year... 500-1. Our board also told us that they favoured us to sign under 23 year old players for the first team, good luck with that! We let go a few of the dead wood players that could easily be replaced by our 16 year olds if need be. On one hand it prevents any damage to the team morale if they start moaning for playing time, and in the other hand it's a bit of money saving. I also managed to get some players to sign new contracts getting a pay cut, and some of the fringe players signed non contracts this season. We received a new sponsor payment that sees us out of the red. Penny pinching to see if we can get some facilities improvements at some point.

Popular Post Bartrcm
For my next try I go to Italy. Maybe an easier choice, but played my first season already and feels that this could be the long save (until they fix the financial problems in Belgium. ). Catania - Serie C-C - Season 2023-2024 Predicted: 11th Final position: 1th What an incredible season we had. We were the whole season around 6 or 7th place, but during the last 12 games, they teams above us start losing points. With 4 games to go we raise to the first place. We hold on and with a 4-3 win in our last game of the season we were crowned as champions. Games 1 Games 2 Games 3 Serie C Cup: Didn't care about this cup and were eliminated in the second round by SPAL, a team that was relegated from Serie B. Transfers: None Youth intake. We had an OK preview (forgot to take a screenshot), and the actual intake didn't disappoint. Fabio Zampieri (YP1a): ST Andrea Lodi (YP1b): AML/ST Massimo Guida (YP1c): GK, will be first choice next season as he is the "best" GK I have. Francesco Vantaggiato (YP1d): AMR, will be a starter next season as my main AMR just decided to retire. Tomas Petravicius (YP1e): DC, but will be retrained as a MC due to his lenght. He is way to short to be a DC. A couple of the new youngsters will have to play next season, and I'm afraid this is too early, but let's hope they will adapt fast. Finances: We had a small profit, but only due to our sponsoring. We could upgrade junior coaching 2 times (1, 2) and youth recruitement once. I hope to stay up next season, as I'm afraid that this promotion came to soon. We have to many older players, and not good enough youngsters that can replace them.

Popular Post Ray46
Update 3a; Sant Andreu: A Dutch manager in Barcelona “Go out and enjoy” Half way through the second season and the board is happy. My contract is extended for 2 years. I immediately asked for a new coaching course, studying for National A now. Tried for a Youth Recruitment upgrade as well: And Junior Coaching. I understand what they mean; Financially it’s not looking good: We are bleeding money: But you can’t say I’m not trying: First half of the season we had good results. We drag out a lot of draws. Defense is still terrible. Also we can’t keep hold of the ball, so we get under pressure a lot. I have one CD with decent jumping, so I have adjusted my tactic to force opposition outside and inviting crosses so our CD’s clear a lot of them. We concede a lot of shots, but most of them are easy saves from headers. My GK’s only decent attribute is reflexes, so that also kind of works. Also made the CD’s ball playing defenders and encouraged them to dribble more. When they dribble more they don’t hoof the ball long immediately and we got some better build up play. They all have dribbling attributes under 6, but it feels like something Johan Cruyff would do too. The last few games we won a few games and shot up the league table. 8th place is a bit flattering, the gap between promotion playoffs and relegation playoffs is just 12 points. A small form dip will get us in trouble fast. We’re going to need about 45 points to stay out of trouble, so having 26 half way is encouraging. With the OG players we will have to make some tough decisions. Most of them are team leaders and still a little bit better than the youngsters. But they hardly get above a 7 in training and most of them have low determination. Mentality is what will keep us fighting in lower leagues at the end of games when oppositions are tired. I tend to bias it over pure skill. I want to create a professional culture in the club. Fassani will probably get an extension, Josu is out for 5 months so he will probably decline a lot. If he doesn’t I’ll reconsider for him. All the others have to go. That will take the depth out of my defensive options, but I have hope. I will decide in April when the youngsters arrive. The intake preview looks good. 3 new centre-backs would be perfect. An extra GK would add some depth as well. If the two strikers can make an immediate impact, that could mean the end for Fassani as well. We will decide in April.
Popular Post SuperRedditch
Season 6 - 2028/29 National League North - 6th Lost in Play-off First Round Bit of a frustrating season. We scored 94 goals but our defence is an absolute shambles. We lost a starting CB at the start of the season because I couldn't afford his wage demands, and I've ultimately had to put my DR and DL at centre back and my DM at DR. That helped, but we have the slowest team in the league and I think in this match engine pace is the most important factor. Almost every goal is a hoof into space and we get rinsed. My 2 starting CMs are refusing to discuss new contracts and have 1 year left, MacFarlane is gone for sure this summer. Youth Intake We were promised a 5 star golden generation again. Almost all A's. Actually awful. Kitoko has already dropped to 4* PA. Here he is, I actually have to play him that's how bad my defence is. Next Season Not sure really. Feeling a bit down about the save now. We'll lose our best 3 players within the next 12 months and be back at square one. I need consistent good intakes, not one or two star players that leave on a free.
BigJack
So I'm in a bit of a predicament and wondered what others would do in this situation. We did lose star CB Fallon 24a in the summer to Watford. He refused to sign a new contract and I held out until a month before hoping he may change his mind but it didn't work, so I offered him out for free +50% of his next transfer fee and a few clubs took the bait. Watford signed him and are now offering to buy the 50% clause for £1.4m. I don't really need the money at the moment but fell foul on fm22 to numerous players moving on then being released by their new clubs and so missing out on any future income. Imo, for a National League side, £1.4m right now is huge. You can immediately pump that into facilities or running your junior coaching/youth recruitment at a massive scale at a loss in order to brute force good intakes. £1.4m right now > a promise of a vague amount of money possibly at some point in the future maybe. What if he ends up retiring there? Yeah i am leaning towards taking it. We have good junior coaching and good youth recruitment already and are still making at least 20k a month profit. It would take us to £2m in the bank. Is there a threshold to turning pro money wise? I remember seeing something around that number a while back. Popular Post 15charactersmax
Hanvikens SK Third season (2025) It's fair to say I didn't see that coming! We absolutely blew everyone away. I was expecting to improve but I was honestly thinking top three or something along those lines but we got off to a great start and just kept going. The key to it was obvious, youth players vastly improving us in key areas, namely keeper and centre half and a striker having the season of his life (screenshots below). I believe our only loss of the season was to town rivals Tyreso FF who I see @Winski has just started a save with . It's a nice feeling to get your first promotion in a new FM and to not have it be a nail biting final game scenario. That season from Alkatah has to be one of my best ever from a lone striker, he was magnificent. 36 goals in 26 game off an xg of 16.41is crazy. It would have been rude to not get promoted with a striker doing that. I know Borjesson doesn't look like much for a keeper, but trust me when I say he was a vast improvement on the trash we were playing in goal. I believe our previous keeper had a 6.54 rating for the season before so this was a brilliant addition to the team. Another youngster was key to our promotion, Amar Lindberg again doesn't look much but I knew his pace would help with defending balls over the top and he formed a great partnership with Johnsson. Honestly with one solitary upgrade to junior coaching and nothing else in my time at the club I have to be pleased with that intake. My HoYD has a professional personality but we seem to be getting a lot of unambitious players coming through which isn't ideal. Hopefully with a promotion we can sweet talk the board into some upgrades. Finances might get in the way of that though... Olsson looks a good player, he'll immediately push for the first team and has good attributes for an inside winger on the left. My starter there is a youth player anyway and he's already a better player according to my assistant. Skoglund is a similar level to my current keeper Borjesson but doesn't have a professional personality so he'll replace my backup keeper for now. Sundberg is an interesting one, he's already one of my better players from a technical standpoint, but he needs work physically. He'll get some game time in games when we're already leading comfortably (wishful thinking). Next season I'll take survival whichever way it comes. Winning the league by as much as we did suggests we're ready to make the step up but looking at the teams in the league above there's a fair few pro teams with some really good players, so we have to concentrate on taking points off fellow semi pro teams. I'm an eternal pessimist so I'll take the relegation playoff now if you offered it! We look set to start a season in the red for the first time so I pray that doesn't come in to play with wages. We're still way under our budget cap and I can't envisage any massive wage hikes but we need to keep an eye on it. Popular Post benrollo
More infographics? MOAR INFOGRAPHICS. Is it possible to go too far? Probably. Safe to say this season was our best yet. A 6th place finish, with safety secured before the last game of the season. It does seem like our youngsters are starting to mature to a point where we aren't completely out of our depth. The top 5 or 6 teams are still miles ahead of us mind. For the second season running, we lost a player after the board accepted the bid. This time it was Igor Pavlovic 27-1 who was on his way out for £750k to Porto. Once again, the board failed to insert any kind of sell on clause. And just as with Nikola Cakic 26-1 (who has now moved to Bayern Munich, netting us a measly £100k), his value has rocketed. To £17.5 MILLION QUID. Looking forward to another few thousand when he moves on. I knew Pavlovic would have to be moved on as he was in the last year of his contract, so I can't be too mad. Back to our squad, and - stop me if you've heard this one before - Kenan Bozic 24-1 was our best player. He banged in 27 goals to earn himself a 7.58 average rating, and even got called up to the full Bosnia squad on 3 occasions. Sadly he is yet to make his full international debut, but it can't be long surely. I was convinced we would lose Bozic when 3 American teams came in with big bids (honestly, £2m would have been pretty handy), but he turned them all down! His agent is now demanding that he has a release clause of £500k inserted into a new contract, despite him being valued at £2.2m. So that's nice for me. Coming in behind Bozic were Ranko Vojvodic 24-5 (7.11 average rating) and Nikola Pejovic 25-1 (7.10 average rating). I'm still not entirely sure if Pejovic is any good, but he's the best we've got on the right wing for the time being. For the 7th season running, we were promised a 5 star youth candidates class, and I have to say I find it hard to disagree with that assessment. Whatever they're putting in the water in Belgrade to produce 7 golden generations in a row, I hope they keep doing it. The class graduated with 8 elite talents, and another really good looking goalkeeper prospect headlining the class. Goran Dimitrijevic 30-1 Such a big talent that he actually immediately took the number 1 spot for the remainder of the season. Dimi managed to keep 4 clean sheets in 14 matches, earning himself a spot in the record books. A little bit of a shame for previous 'keeper golden child Nikola Simonovic 29-2, who actually managed 2 clean sheets earlier in the season before Dimi stole his thunder. Vukan Stevic 30-2 I don't think it will be long before Pejovic's place on the right wing is under threat from this lad. Bojan Milosevic 30-3 Our second year with a seemingly technically-deficient right back. Seems like he has a lot of room to grow, but it's going to take a while. Rounding out the elite talents we had Claude Thiebaud 30-4, Todor Nikolic 30-5, Giannis Nomikos 30-6 (OUR FIRST GRADUATE BORN OUTSIDE OF SERBIA, THANK YOU RECRUITMENT TEAM!), Andreas Kyriakou 30-7 and Danilo Mijailovic 30-8. Genuinely quite exciting to not only see our first foreign-born graduate, but also to get a few lads born outside of the immediate Belgrade area. Give it another 10 years or so and we might even reach Hungary. Not too much has changed behind the scenes. I managed to get on to the Continental Pro license course at the first attempt, so that's a bonus. Facilities wise we've stayed put, although just after receiving our end of season income I did manage to convince the board to invest in the youth facilities. It does mean we start the season with £36k in the bank, but I'm sure we'll work it out. Here's my profile as things stand (forgot that in the last 2 updates, d'oh). The biggest concern coming up on the horizon is Bozic's contract. It has a year left to run, but I'm playing chicken with his agent in the hopes he'll eventually just forget about the release fee clause. Eventually I may have to admit defeat, but I'll be as stubborn as possible until December.

Ray46
3 hours ago, BigJack said: So I'm in a bit of a predicament and wondered what others would do in this situation. I'd say take the money. Invest in new facilities and new players will come through that will make the team a lot better. Let's say he sells for 20 million in 5 seasons. You would get 10 million or 2 million per season. In those 5 years with better facilities you have 5 times 15 players = 75 players coming through. I think 2 or 3 of those players will be even better than Fallon and worth more. Popular Post Makoto Nakamura
2034/35 End of Season Review We bottled it. Next season I'm hoping for another top half finish as some younger players are now managing to break into the squad. Time for a clear out, Larry Murray, Kris Beggs, Sam Kelly & Colin O'Keefe will all be leaving us or released to make way for younger players with potential. No way could Colin be an impact sub with 14 goals from 225 appearances! Winski
With 4 games to play, we are still in the running for promotion to Superettan (division 2)! It has been a dream season so far. Popular Post BustaRaymes
*FM20* As the old topic died with the release of FM23, I'm posting here for now. Hope you guys don't mind! I will not be updating every season anymore as I'm in 2074 by now, I will only show milestone seasons. After this save I'm going to make the switch to FM23. That being said: Littlehampton Town 2073-2074 (season 55) We're into the Premier League! After 15 seasons in the Championship and 4 tries in the playoffs. We struggles most of the seasons but found our footing as a top half side in recent years. The semi was a thriller in which we were in survival mode for the first 60 minutes. We got a hold of the game after that and managed a 9-8 on penalties. In the final we were much more solid. Bournemouth started the second half strong and even had a goal disallowed, but after their red card we were in control again. The squad that did it: Antonsson has been our first and only choice goalkeeper for quite some time now. Ryan, Crook, Keehan and Hourihane are decent, but Kabiru is the one keeping it together at the back. Defense will certainly be our achilles heel in the PL. Enoe is not a star yet, but the only available BWM in the squad. Next to former full back Olawale and often Swidzikowski as well, he delivers decently. Grant and Noble are quality wingers who play a crucial role in our build up play, and did really well this season. Our biggest quality is up front. Jonsson has been prolific for years now and Favier is our biggest talent. We had a hard time holding on to him but he's on a long term contract and now we're in the PL I expect him to stay. Benchwarmer Griffin is our wildcard: a speed demon that loves big games and delivers whether up front or on the right side. He had a great season. Upcoming talents: Edvardsen, Guesbaoui and Sani were out on lone and will probably be having a place in the squad next season, as we're going to need everyone. Adair is up for some loan experience, Calamba will need more training first. Transfers: Still just the one that was brought in by a takeover board and sold off asap.

Congrats to Jordi Rocha 23C (Runner-Up) and Guillermo Valdéz 24A (3rd place) to making it into the Top 3 of NxGn 2025. SuperRedditch
@hubwubOut of interest, as the challenge goal is to win the League and Continental Cup, what's the interpretation for Mexico - with the league actually being 2 half leagues. Win both the Apertura and Clausura? I managed in Mexico in FM22 as part of a pentagon save, and loved it - really fun league, imo.
