HenTheChicken
This is so sad to see, he has been a starter for the last 20 odd years and it looks like he's finally going to be put out of the first team. What a great player, went from striker to right midfielder and still played absurdly well. If we get to a champions league final before he retires I'm playing him.

I get a win, and then lose 2. can't find any consistency to push me forward. Whenever I do England I always find that first promotion is by far the hardest. I completed it with Whitby last year and I think it took me around 10 seasons to get out that bottom tier, it's just a nightmare. Sometimes you just need a bit of luck getting some cash to improve your youth recruitment/junior coaching. makes a huge difference down there. Once you get to league 2 it seems so much easier and you fly up the leagues

Popular Post Daddy
2026/27 Season Review: We pretty much ran away with the league. I wanted to build off the last season and be in contention, but this was much better. What really surprised me was doing it mostly defensively. It's a healthy Goal Difference, but it was because we only gave up 24 goals in 36 matches. We were still top half in goals for, but there were a lot of 1-0 wins that if we weren't so good on defense it would have been much closed to win the league. I wasn't looking to sell Y23D (I tag the inherited intake), but the chairperson felt it was too good. Considering the clubs finances I couldn't complain too much. I think there was some money left on the deal but it is what it is. I trimmed away a lot of players who were never going to get much playing time or any at all. I did at least get another Recruitment update and coach badge. Youth Intake: I'm quite happy with this intake as the weakest spot depth wise is forwards. No one ready to take a spot, I think, but we're getting overloaded elsewhere so that's good to see. 2027/28 Season Preview: Decided to go fairly basic for the primary home and away and a bit wacky for the rarely used third kit. Here's the great barrier for me in Switzerland. I can get a team to the top league, but have never really pushed too far and frequently go back down. Let's see if the defense from last season sticks around.

gb2003
Karşıyaka SK Season 1 - 2023/24 | TFF 2.Lig - 7th (Media:15th) | Cup - 4th Round I was 34 of 36 match days in the playoff ranks but last game I lost 1-0 against the winner of the league and was out of the playoffs. I'm little upset because I played a great season and was close for promotion. I had the best offense in the league but also one of the worst defense. I struggled after my 1st goalie was injured and I need to play the last 10 games with my 2nd goalie which isn't so good. Also my top scorer and goalgetter with 41 goals in the league leaves me at the end of the season. I have a great prospect as a striker but don't think that he can score so many goals. Popular Post HenTheChicken
Speechless. Honestly, speechless. WHAT A WIN! WHAT A WAY TO WIN IT! We gave Oliver his champions league final that he's been waiting 20 years for, playing him in the Right Midfielder position in his last game before retiring. What a career he's had. We knew this was our last chance to win it for years. The best players on the team are aging and the youth prospects won't be ready to play properly for a good few seasons. We had absolutely no right to win that, the semi final against benfica, 6-6 aggregate and a win on penalties was a little bit stressful to say the least, and then 3-3 against Bayern and winning on penalties there too. I just don't know how we've done it. The team had no right being in the knockout rounds on pure quality, nevermind winning it. We got so so lucky. Our goalkeeper rick forbes was absolutely working overtime, in the last 20 games he only got a rating under seven three times, and in the away benfica game he played at a 9.1, in the bayern game he played at an 8.9. He's the reason we made it to the finals and he's undoubtedly the reason we won it. What a player. Brad powell, at the young age of 24 is already a Wales national and he was involved in all 3 of our goals in the final, with a goal and 2 assists. He played at a 9.7, another essential figure in our team that we would be nowhere without. I could continue but I think you get the point, our players played well above their skills, and that win couldn't be repeated in another 1,000,000 games. Wow. League Performance Spoiler Very unspectacular league season. TNS took us to a fight until the end. They're a really quality team but they do not do well enough in Europe. Here's the table. Ruthin are my biggest surprise in this season, they always seem to get destroyed early on and then come back in spectacular fashion, I love watching their antics. Europe Spoiler No clue how this happened, again, its just incredible. We got so, so lucky in playing no English teams in the knockouts. They always seem to crush us beyond comprehension. If you're looking at just the results it looks so mixed. We came 20th in the league stage. 20TH! I came 2nd last season in the league phase, equal on points to Real Madrid in first, but that season we got knocked out in the QF by Liverpool. The Benfica away game was an absolute mess. a red for each team and a chaotic penalty shootout to say the least. Not sure how we managed to score 4 against their massively superior team but I was so chuffed to even be in the final. Ollie James had an unimpressive end to his career, and sadly I couldn't keep him on for the penalties, I wasn't really sure there would be penalties anyway, that goal from Brad Powell was so needed. I love that man with my whole heart. The Squad Spoiler I would like to reiterate that we do not have the quality to be near the Champions league final, and im still so confused as to how we reached it. Like, I adore this man but this isn't what a CL final goalkeeper looks like attribute wise. But he played so amazingly that I can't really complain. Once again, its like we're playing with a very dodgy league 1 side and we've managed to drag it to the CL final. Wow. Brad is a great player on the field though and thats all that matters. Jeez. I can't believe it.

Streetpete
I havent kept up with my season so Im going to do 3 in a row but its going to be short for each. Season review season 3- 25/26 We had a very good season, taking home 1st place and for most of the season looking unbeatable, but with a bit of a fall towards the end, but probably also because I tried giving more young players time on the pitch. We also had a good intake Season review season 4 26/27 We started well with a lot of points, but were dreadful rest of the season, and the big issue was our goalkeeper and defense who just werent any good. Intake wasnt the best because of personalities and current level, it wasnt the worst either though but no one close to first level team Season review season 5 27/28 Well form from last season continued and we were absolutely abyssmal and relegation was unavoidable, luckily I didnt get the sack. There were some good prospects in there, but sadly we lost Jann Ingi Rouah since we only have him on part time contract on a very low wage and apparently other clubs can steal them then with no compensation... So good luck to him for Gil Vicente.

I was lucky to have a great keeper (I’ve actually won goalkeeper of the year every year I’ve been in the league) I inherited a good young keeper from the legacy team. It definitely helps. I play a fairly cliched gegenpressing system, 4231 (2 DM), aim to control possession but with a higher tempo. Basically swarm the midfield and make the safest, fastest passes to get upfield quickly. When we lose possession they now have the whole field to go and we usually swarm to the ball first.

MadCatPT
1 hour ago, HenTheChicken said: Speechless. Wow. League Performance Reveal hidden contents Very unspectacular league season. TNS took us to a fight until the end. They're a really quality team but they do not do well enough in Europe. Here's the table. Ruthin are my biggest surprise in this season, they always seem to get destroyed early on and then come back in spectacular fashion, I love watching their antics. Europe Reveal hidden contents No clue how this happened, again, its just incredible. The Squad Reveal hidden contents I would like to reiterate that we do not have the quality to be near the Champions league final, and im still so confused as to how we reached it. Congrats.

Popular Post The7Striker
Chernomorets 1919 Burgas 2025/2026 Season Finances Supporters Transfers Squad Prva Liga Relegation Phase Avoing relegation was the objective and boy, we did it! We kept pretty much of the same team, only Stoilov and Velchev got promoted from the under 19's this season. The promotion comes with a shocker, Prva Liga allows 20 Non EU Players. So you know what than means right ? Ludogorets, Levski and CSKA Sofia use that rule to the max. This league also brings new rules, so after 30 games, we are divided into phases that define champions, European places and relegations. Our 11th send us to the last one where we manage to stay 1st. Slavia and Litex were really bad this year. We also had improvements of our players personalities, Georgi Kazakov was one case. What a baller. Kupa NA Bulgariya - Semi-Finals, what a run. CSKA 1948 was too much for us. Under 19 - I can finally say TAKE IT SOZOPOL ! We got promoted and we won the Kupa Under 19. The lads are on fire. Youth Intake Preview: Spoiler Intake was amazing, alot of potencial but Dinov is ready for first team football. What a CB. Next Season: Avoing relegation is the goal along side bet the youth lads we have in the squad.

This perhaps says everything about the hardcore challenge this will be. Hardly any players, very weak youth intakes and very difficult to get out of the lowest divisions. Like Africanos Bragança of Portugal, this is a team with foreign newgens in Iceland. Very unique especially as it produces mostly Polish youth players, African and then players from all over the world. Why there are specifically many Polish and African players coming through from the youth academy is not clear but there are around 20000 poles living in Iceland. That makes them the biggest minority ethnic group in Iceland. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poles_in_Iceland No more issues in this database: League structure, cups, u19 situation, subs rule , competition dates , everything seems to be correct! Popular Post Barnsley
After all that moaning previously, it some how seems to have clicked in season 9. Made the FA cup proper for the first time, actually round 2 home to Fleetwood. We drew 1-1 and a replay was had. The 3rd round tie awaiting for us? Man United at Old Trafford, yes what i have been dreaming of since starting the challenge. United v Fc United at OT. Replay kicks of, we race into a 2-0 lead after 11 minutes, (Fleetwood are bottom of L1 so a decent tie) - 5-2 down at HT. FT 6-3 Gutting isn't the word! However the league is going superbly so far - although i am losing my CB as he wants to consider his options - im unable to get him to stay. Have asked him twice, discussed with him - hes sacked his agent and then agreed he will reconsider - still unable to get him to agree a deal or negotiate with me (possibly a bug). Could it finally be the time!
